Meet the Author

Do you feel or see the world around you? I have always felt the world and looked for its visual cues. When I was young theses feelings and cues were overwhelming. I always wanted to create pictures of theses thoughts and feelings as a way to deal with them. Writing seemed like the best way for me to do that. 

Grief and love may be a dichotomy.    My first completed written work is a memoir about love, grief, and loss. In my opinion, love is the most worthy feeling of expressing our emotions. I think that every book that I have planned to write will be about some form of love.  Love is such a positive driving force. It drove me to write but so did grief and loss.  

I’ve wanted to claim my title as a creative and published writer for decades; but I found excuses and delays until I found love. I make no apologies for the emotions that I express in My Backyard Garden, A Memoir. If they seem too much, they are more and maybe even more than you can imagine. I wrote this because my heart goes out to you.  So, do not take lightly your feelings or the feelings of others who are going through this season of grief and loss. Inside, these feelings are real, regardless of what you show or see on the outside.
